Swim lessons are over and the summer is flying by! Taylor now has glasses. He has had them almost a month now, and is very good about wearing them. The doctor said that Taylor is extremly far-sighted. Who would have known with all the reading he does! Taylor spends his days playing with Thomas the Train and now Herbie the Love Bug! He loves to watch the old Love Bug movies! He also decided to name our car Johnny after the Auto-B-Good show he saw while at Nana and Papa's house! Needless to say he is a very busy boy with a great imagination! Well I better run, Taylor needs Mommy to play trains with him!

Ok, it has been forever since I have updated the site! Well hopefully I will be better about this! We just had a great time on Rich and Rhea's boat! There was an all you can eat crawfish and shrimp boil! It was awesome! Needless to say John ate a ton of crawfish! As for Taylor, he is really reading well! It amazes me he can just pick up a book and figure the words out! My little smarty pants! He is also riding his bike ALL the time. It is so funny, when he passes big kids while he is riding his bike he starts going really fast. I have to start jogging just to keep up! Well that's about it for now! I will try and be better about keeping up with the messages!

We had a very busy weekend! Taylor celebrated his 3rd birthday with a Thomas the Train birthday party. All of his friends came over and enjoyed pizza, birthday cake, and playing together. It was a lot of fun! The night before the party all the families in his playgroup took a ride on the Polar Express train! It was great! During the train ride they played songs from the movie and then read the story! Each child also recieved a jingle bell. They saw Santa and made a Christmas ornament. Taylor really enjoyed seeing Santa! It was a busy weekend filled with lots of excitement!
